A dock is utilised for the quick and efficient loading or unloading of product to or from the production warehouse facility through to truck, trailer or container. ICA’s materials handling solutions load or unload automatically by using dock systems. When the trailer is positioned and connected with the dock, the entire load is loaded or unloaded automatically.

The speed of ICA’s dock loading and unloading systems facilitates efficient transfer of product negating the need for trucks to sit idle for periods of up to 45-minutes whilst being serviced via manual forklift. ICA’s solutions can be directly linked to production lines, including integrated barcode scanning and directly linked to AGV systems. By eliminating forklift loading, trucks can be loaded with little effort and increased efficiency in less than 3 minutes.
